The SPCC Alumni Choir is excited to present our upcoming concert – “Musique Chorale Sacrée Concert”

It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us at our upcoming concert – “Musique Chorale Sacrée”, presented in collaboration with the French May Arts Festival.
This year, we celebrate the rich heritage of French sacred choral music. Under the baton of Mr. Jason Liu, the Alumni Choir will perform works by some of the most influential French composers. From the vibrant, lush melodies of Gabriel Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine to the sacred a cappella piece 4 motets sur des thèmes grégoriens by Maurice Duruflé and the majestic composition of Lili Boulanger’s Hymne au Soleil, each piece will transport you to the heart of France. A highlight of the concert will be a choral symphony, with the Alumni Choir and Orchestra presenting their rendition of César Franck’s Mass in A major.
The programme also features instrumental works including Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Honegger’s Hymne. The SPCC PMG Ensemble, led by Mr. Warren Lee, and the Alumni Children’s Choir, led by Ms. Erica Lowe, will share the stage, creating a vibrant tapestry of voices and instruments.
