My fellow Gala Dinner Co-Chairman Andrew Luk (1978) and
I wish to thank the Centenary Celebration Committee, our
former Alumni Association Chairman Dr Philip Leong, Principal
Dr Anissa Chan and Headmistress Ms Lucilla Leung for their
invaluable support, as well as the teachers, staff, PTAs, Student
Union and Form Five and Six student helpers for all their behind-
the-scenes hard work.
Last but not least, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude
to the members of the Gala Dinner Organising Committee for
their tireless effort in making this logistically challenging event
a success. The rundown and MC scripts had been rewritten
repeatedly to make the simulcast of the two halls a seamless one.
Many thoughts had also been put into the selection of the table
prizes, which were custom-made for this special occasion and
were very well received by our guests. A special vote of thanks to
Tin Yan Chung (1988), the Vice-Chairman of this Committee and
my comrade-in-arms.
The evening was a time to celebrate and to catch up with old
friends. I hope this grand reunion not only left you with fond
memories, but also the love and warmth of the SPCC family.
