Congratulations to the
following alumni for their
distinguished achievements:
Dr Moses M. C. Cheng (1967), GBS, OBE, JP, Chairman of the SPCC
School Council and Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU
Foundation, was appointed by the HKSAR Government as Chairman
of the Independent Insurance Authority for a term of three years with
effect from 28 December 2015.

）於去年正式被行政長官委任為大學教育資助委員會主席，
任期由

日起生效，為期三年。唐校友是傑出的社會領袖，多
年來熱心參與公共事務，經驗豐富，現擔任證券及期貨事務監察委員會
主席及外匯基金諮詢委員會委員等公職。唐校友亦曾擔任教資會委員及
教資會轄下質素保證局的委員，為高等教育界的發展及質素保證提供寶
貴意見。
Dr Arthur Li Kwok-cheung (1961), GBS, JP, was appointed as the
Chairman of the University of Hong Kong’s Governing Council for
a three-year term, with effect from 1 January 2016. He was formerly
Vice-chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, having served
the institution for two decades before being appointed as Hong Kong’s
Secretary for Education and Manpower in 2002.
