SPCCAA 7
After a very warm welcome speech made by Dr Philip
Leong (1965), the former Chairman of the SPCC Alumni
Association, we also heard from Dr Moses Cheng (1967), the
Chairman of the School Council and from Dr Anissa Chan,
the Principal, who both congratulated SPCC on its centennial
anniversary. Then we were honoured to receive blessing
from The Most Reverend Dr Paul Kwong, the Archbishop
of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. After the singing of school
hymn, the Dinner officially began after dinner grace led by
School Council member Canon Ian Lam.
The highlight of the evening was the joint singing
performance by the SPCC Treble Choir, the SPCC Senior
Mixed Voice Choir and the SPCC Alumni Choir, with a
combination of 316 performers. The halls were filled with
the joyful tunes of two music room favourite pieces,
Let the
Home Fires Burning
and
Come to the Fair
, conducted by
Music Director Warren Lee (1994) and Senior Mixed Voice
Choir conductor Apollo Wong (1997) in the Grand Hall and
Convention Hall respectively.
